Josiah Moose is a 12th grader in NHS who is part of the Track team. He first joined track in middle school but had a short break. He then got inspired to continue his dream for his high school year. He’s been in track since freshman year and has continued to pursue his dream. He has been training and working hard to achieve many goals and inspire other people to continue working for his goal. He has high hopes to become an amazing track star in the future.
Wise Words
“Stay true to yourself, stay based, and always be ambitious towards anything you set your goals with… and always motivate others around you cause motivation is contagious. Always know that every day isn’t gonna be a good day that’s why there’s a tomorrow,” said Josiah Moose.
Joining the track team
Josiah Moose joined the track team his freshman year. He wants to become a better person and has a passion for track . He has been working hard to become the best track team member and wants other people to join the team to help and have a great experience. “People should join track to not only just run, but to meet new people and try out new things that probably won’t interest you at first but you’ll soon realize you might be good at it. People should also join track to also achieve to be better than they were before and it will become a habit in life to be a better individual than you were before.”
Challenges in a big dream
Every big dream has many challenges to conquer and try to complete. Josiah Moose has been a great track member even though there’s many obstacles. He will get over them and learn from them to get better each time. He understands that its not easy, but if you try hard and focus most on it you will be able to succeed. “There are always challenges in track, the competition, the practices to be perfect for meet day, and get a gold medal, but the biggest challenge in track is yourself cause it’s an individual sport and only you can limit yourself from being the best you can be.”
Continue for your dreams
Josiah Moose has been having multiple dreams that will come true when he continues to work hard and learn more about those obstacles. He has a passion for track and poetry. He hopes to continue track in college but also focus on his other ideas. ”I haven’t thought about that as of right now, i’ve been focused on poetry but if my mind changes I wouldn’t mind running for the University of Houston.”
Josiah Moose is a talented and strong raider at NHS, trying to pursue his dreams and continuing track for most of his years. He continues to help others to follow their dream and works very hard for our school track team. I appreciate Josiah Moose for being an amazing team member and great student at NHS.
