The movie “The Forge” is a good movie to watch if you want to change the person you are, and even get closer to God. I would re-watch this many times if I ever need motivation for myself to get back up on my feet. It follows a 19-year old boy named Isaiah who’s addicted to video games, disrespectful to authority and lazy.
This movie took place in Albany, Georgia in a small town. The main characters in the movie “The Forge” are: Isaiah Wright, his mom Priscilla Shrier, Carmeron Aspen and his wife B.J Arnett. I personally think all the character in the movie did their part very good, and had no mistakes. Everything was very perfect for the way it was made and written. He would only focus on his video games and basketball without having a job or anything. He had no plans after high-school for his future. He was challenged by his single mom and a successful business man to start chatting a better course for his life.
I like everything about this movie. It’s emotional. I recommend to watch this movie if you have no idea what you are going to do with your life right after school or you’re not in right path. Isaiah was no where near the right path. He would stress his mom, because he didn’t pay any attention to her, he would just be in the video games with his friends, and not listen to mom when she needed him. Some lessons I learned from this story is to trust in God and his plans, to treat others how you want to be treated, and for Christians to find others to share their faith in the way of Christian living. Nothing is possible if you don’t believe in our father Jesus Christ.
The group of people that would like this movie are the ones who aren’t in the right path.I would recommend this movie who are the ones that don’t know what they’re doing right after high-school and that aren’t in the right path even the ones that are disrespectful to authority and lazy. This movie is PG, The movie is good I give it a 10/10.
