This Disney animated feature follows the adventures of the young lion Simba, the heir of his father, Mufasa. Simba’s wicked uncle Scar, plots to usurp Mufasa’s throne by luring father and son into a stampede of wildebeests. In my opinion, it is one of my favorite movies. This movie took place in the pride lands of Tanzania. Some of the main characters in the movie are Simba, Scar (uncle), Mufasa (father),  Pumbaa,  Timon, Nala (wife).  This movie is about a young Simba who is a prince and runs away thinking he killed his father. One thing I really liked about the movie is the animation and the way you could really feel the characters emotions. One of the voice actors that I liked was Jonathan Taylor Thomas who plays (Simba). I really liked how you can hear the pain in his voice to add more feelings to the movie. One thing I didn’t really like was one of the voice actors which is Scar who is voiced by Jeremy Irons. The reason for me not liking him is because I felt like I couldn’t really understand what he was saying and it would confuse me. I would recommend this movie to kids and toddlers because it is a really nice movie and their is a lot of singing, and it is very funny. The MPAA rating is PG in the USA. It is recommended that kids from 6 and up. In the end it is a really nice movie with a good plot I would give this move a 5 out of 5 stars.
