The movie”COCO” is a beautiful animated movie made by Pixar. It tells the story of a young boy named Miguel, who lives in Mexico. Miguel loves music, but his family has a strange rule that they do not allow music because of a past event. Miguel dreams of becoming a musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz.
One day, during the celebration of Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Miguel accidentally finds himself in the Land of the Dead. This magical place is filled with colorful spirits and skeletons. He meets his great great grandfather who was also a musician. Miguel learns that he needs to get the blessing of a family member to return home. This movie take place in the Mexican town of Santa Cecilia. In the land of the dead, Miguel teams up with a lovely skeleton named Hector. Hector helps Miguel find Ernesto de la Cruz, hoping to get his own family blessing too. As they journey together,Miguel discovers the importance of family and remembering those who have passed away.
I like everything from this movie because, this movie shows the Mexican culture, especially the traditions of Dia de los Muertos and I always remember of the way we also celebrate Dia de los Muertos and how we remember those who have passed away. Also because Miguel understands that honoring his ancestors and keeping their memories alive is what truly matters. This also my parents have told me since I was little.
This movie teaches us about love, memory, and the importance of remembering our love ones and celebrating their lives, even after they are gone. This film is touching reminder of bonds that connect us all, I do recommend this movie 10/10.In the end Miguel returns home with a new appreciation for his family and their history.
