Freshmen this year were surprised to see a familiar face in the hallways and Theater department, Mr. Thomas Falconar, their former middle school teacher, now teaching high school.
Known for his humor and energy, Mr. Falconar keeps students laughing, joking, and engaged, making his class one of the most enjoyable. Back in middle School, he was not only one of the most loved teachers but also the soccer coach who led the Landrum Middle School soccer team to be second place in the district. Many students say they’re mainly excited to start high school because they get to enjoy his class once again. Even though he only taught middle School for 2 years, he had a great impact in students lives. Mr. Falconar is now the Theater Technical Director of Northbrook High School. Since the first day of school, he has already made so many more friends with students from everywhere, including; Landrum Middle School, Northbrook Middle School, and Spring Woods Middle School. He has also taught a lot of students to build, while students were learning how to do so, he was patient and helped them understand. Many freshmen look forward to going to his class because they know they can enjoy their time there, while learning new things everyday. Mr. Falconar, is a very understanding person, when someone is going through something, he sits there and listens to them while also giving advice and being respectful.
Mr. Falconar’s personality has brighten up a lot of people’s days, and he has the most sweetest humor and personality. Many students in just 2 months into the school year, already feel comfortable with talking and joking with Mr. Falconar. Many middle schooler, specifically from LMS, are ready for their 8th grade year to be over and be able to be in Mr. Falconar’s theater once again.
