On Friday, your Northbrook Raiders took on rival Spring Woods in what would become a back-and-forth battle for the ages. Northbrook’s defense stepped up huge shutting down Spring Woods’ offense all game led by Josue Giron who racked up 21 tackles on the night. The defense had a huge goal line stand and a crucial turnover off of a bad snap leading to a Northbrook touchdown by Maurice Campbell in the second quarter. That would be all Northbrook needed on the night to pick up their second win of the season and keep the unbeaten streak alive. Northbrook is back in action at home this Friday at Tully Stadium at 7:00pm for their Homecoming game against Aldine High School.
