Girls Soccer Senior Night

Senior night was hosted on Feb 20, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. The people who were involved were the coaches and the soccer seniors. This event took place at Victory Field with a large turnout. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the soccer seniors on their last year, recognizing them for their hard work and achievements. The seniors were shown love and support throughout the night.

After the JV game ended, the coaches were getting ready to start, second by second it was getting dark. One by one each senior walked in with the people they love by their side, while the crowd cheered as they stepped foot onto the field. The atmosphere was emotional and celebratory. As each senior stepped onto the field the coach read their message to the audience. Message by message each one had an impact on a person especially the underclassmen making them emotional about the upperclassmen leaving. Tears filled within each seniors eyes as well as the underclassman. Eliana Guzman stated in her message, “Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone because growth comes from the moments that challenges you the most, the challenges you come across will shape you to become stronger versions of yourself and help you discover just how capable and resilient you are.”

The crowd would respond by clapping and cheerfully screaming. The participants felt emotional. The event matters to the school because it celebrates and shows appreciation to the seniors. This event celebrates and honors all the hard work and dedication that the seniors have put into the program. Monica Ventura’s message was, “Don’t quit, no se rindan even when it gets hard, even when you don’t feel confident don’t quit por que despues el arrepentimiento pesa mas que el esfuerzo y nunca dejen que un coach les diga que tipo de jugadoras pueden llegar a ser, nunca dejen que un coach les robe su passion y amor por el deporte, stay strong, believe in yourself, and finish what you start thank you.”

After every upperclassmen finished walking onto the field, the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors handed their seniors their basket and their poster. The audience cheered and clapped as senior night was getting to an end and the varsity game was about to begin.
